The AFC West is the home of the reigning Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the top favorites for winning the division yet again. Though, the fact that they have LA Chargers, the Denver Broncos, and the Las Vegas Raiders as rivals, promises a very interesting season.
Before Betting on the 2023 AFC West Winners
The Chiefs are dominating this division, with them winning the title for the past seven years. Andy Reid established a potential dynasty with Patrick Mahomes as the leader, and his partner Travis Kelce. There is no debate about their dominance in the NFL, the results and stats are telling everything.
A fascinating fact is that all four franchises in the division have the same number of divisional titles, 15 each, so whoever wins the title this year, will have the bragging rights.
2023 AFC West Winners Offshore Betting Odds
The top favorites are the Chiefs, and that’s perfectly logical. They are the current Super Bowl champs and have pretty much the same team as before. That is, the backbone is the same, ready for another shot at the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Patrick Mahomes is the top favorite for the MVP award once again, and with a little luck regarding the injuries, we could see the Chiefs adding another banner to their collection.
The LA Chargers are next on the list. This is a make-or-break year for the franchise from LA and its head coach Brandon Staley, who got another chance to do something notable. He has one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league, Justin Herbert, and a load of excellent players.
Behind are the Denver Broncos, whose top star, Russell Wilson, was disappointed last year in his first season with the team. The team from Mile High was arguably the biggest bust in the league in 2022.
Finally, the last-placed team on the list are the Las Vegas Raiders. Their new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has an elite target down the field, Davante Adams, arguably the best wide receiver in the league. Jimmy G is always in the middle of attention, on and off the field, so his arrival to Nevada created solid hype. But also, it added pressure on his back.
