The 2023 Oscars edition saw Everything Everywhere All At Once taking most of the major awards, marking this year’s show. For many, this movie wasn’t that legendary to take seven Oscars, yet for others, it should win even more.
The odds favored this piece of art to win the Academy Award for Best picture, and it was really on surprise when the announcement came.
2024 Academy Awards Best Picture Odds
Things aren’t that clear when we talk about the following Best Picture Oscar race. Two movies are almost leveled according to the early odds, while several more are awfully close.
Martin Scorcese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and the Color Purple are atop the favorites list. The first movie has one of the best lineups seen in the past years, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Brendan Fraser leading the way.
The other is a musical drama revolving around the struggle of an African American in the early 20th century. It has almost the same odds as Scorcese’s masterpiece.
Several other movies are right behind, like Past Lives, Dune: Part Two, and Maestro.
