The Gauls have an extremely strong team, with Alexandre Lacazette as the captain and one of three overaged players on the roster. Their head coach is Thierry Henry, one of the best footballers of the new millennium and maybe the biggest French star behind Zidane and Platini. On the other side are the Americans, whose players are mostly from the MLS league. They already played together in youth selections, some of them even for the A team. The captain is the defender Walker Zimmerman, an experienced veteran who is expected to tighten up the situation in the back line.
Gianluca Busio and Kevin Paredes are expected to be the leading force in the midfield and closer to the rival’s goal, with Colorado Rapid’s Djordje Mihajlovic, who has played solid football this season.
