According to the media outlets in the USA, Joe Biden is out, even though we haven’t seen anything more than his letter on X. Many believe that he was forced to abandon the race following the recent developments and that he actually didn’t want to withdraw. Some even claim that the Democrats made a silent coup, with certain factions simply imposing his exit from the race. But that’s something we aren’t talking about here.
Our focus is odds, and right now, according to the same, it appears that the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has a much bigger chance of winning than his new rival, Kamala Harris.
Things were leaning toward Trump even before the debate with Biden, but once he survived an assassination attempt, his prospects of coming back to the Oval Office exploded. Many of the neutral voters have sided with the Republican nominee, and the narrative in society has changed, as Trump isn’t a villain anymore but rather a victim and a hero, too.
The bookies doubt Kamala, who wasn’t that noticeable during her Vice Presidential term in the White House. She even made some mistakes, which didn’t help her reputation, but completely the opposite.
Of course, all this could change after one debate. Harris is in much better cognitive shape than Biden, and she can hit back at Trump, unlike her predecessor. Also, she has had fewer scandals than the current President, who was a walking problem in the final few months.
