#24 Iowa (6-1) has climbed into the Top 25 but they’ll have a tough time staying there up against #15 Duke (6-2) in the Jimmy V Classic on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden in New York. This will be the third Big Ten team that the Blue Devils have played this season, losing 75-56 to Purdue and also beating Ohio State 81-72.

Duke is an incredibly young team which may play into Iowa’s hands as the Hawkeyes’ top three scorers are upperclassmen. Leading that charge is Kris Murray, whose brother Keegan is keying a turnaround for the Sacramento Kings in his rookie season in the NBA. Kris may be joining his brother in the association next year as he’s put up 21.0 points and 10.6 rebounds per game so far this year including 31/20 last time out against Georgia Tech.
Duke will likely only get better as this young team gains more experience with each other, but Kyle Filipowski is already starting to dominate, scoring in double figures in each of the first 10 games of his collegiate career. Jeremy Roach (12.2 ppg) is the only other Blue Devils player averaging in double figure scoring this season.
