The NFC West rivals, the San Francisco 49ers and the LA Rams, have a very big rivalry. Another chapter of the same is set for this Sunday.
Before Betting on 49ers vs. Rams
Now, the Rams have a thriving attack, but on the other side, the 49ers have one of the elite defenses in the NFL, led by the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Nick Bosa. He and his teammates smashed the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field, 30-7.
Brock Purdy has been exceptional in the regular season, boasting an undefeated 7-0 record with 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He believed in Kyle Shannahan’s system perfectly, so it’s no wonder why the Niners’ head coach let go of Trey Lance. Purdy was 19-for-29 in Pittsburgh, for 220 yards and two touchdowns, while Christian McCaffrey had 152 rushing yards and one score.
When healthy, Matt Stafford is a top-five quarterback, and for us, there’s no debate about that. Yes, the Seahawks aren’t great defensively, but Stafford had a very good display against them, schooling Seattle’s D and passing for 334 yards. Wide receivers Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell combined for 238 yards out of Stafford’s total. The final result in Seattle was 30-13 for the Rams.
And just to remind you, Cooper Kupp wasn’t in the protocol. Two years ago, when the Rams took the Super Bowl, he was the best offensive player, having the best figures in various WR categories. Kyren Williams ran only 52 yards but had two TD scores, and he, too, indicated good form.

We like Stafford, we really do, but the 49ers have already beaten him in the past, and overall, they have dominated against the Rams in recent years, winning seven of the past eight meetings. The Niners’ defense will be too much for the Rams to handle, especially without Cooper Kupp, and that’s why we go with the guests to win.
