Over the past four years, the Buffalo Bills have been dominating the AFC East. Can Aaron Rodgers change that? Are the Miami Dolphins finally ready to challenge Josh Allen? And what about the New England Patriots? Stay tuned to find out.

Before Betting on the AFC East 2024 Winner

According to the odds, the Bills are the biggest favorites to take the AFC East title this season as well. While the team from Buffalo sits at +160 currently, the Miami Dolphins are +190, ahead of Aaron Rodgers’ Jets at +200. All three teams have realistic chances of finishing first in this assembly.

Jets+200
Patriots+2200

The only ones out of the picture are the New England Patriots at +2200. The Pats have to enter a small rebuild again, with them accepting that Mac Jones is the player they hoped to be.

The Buffalo Bills traded Stefon Diggs, and that’s the biggest thing in the division this summer. Will Josh Allen stay lethal without his top target, who is undoubtedly one of the best wide receivers in the NFL? His advantage might be that he now has several equal targets, which might create confusion among the rivals.

Regarding the Jets, everything here revolves around Aaron Rodgers and his health status. If the former Packer plays at, let’s say, 80% of his overall brcapacity, the Jets are very, very competitive because they have two standout talents at the WR positions, Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. Their defense is also filled with flair and might be one of the best in the NFL.

Miami was on its way to stop Buffalo’s reign last year, but like always, something happened to them, causing the Dolphins to lose pace. The positive thing for the franchise from Florida is that they didn’t suffer any changes on the roster. Tagovailoa-Hill connection is present, plus Waddle. The possible upgrade could be Anthony Weaver, who’ll lead the defense as the coordinator.

Finally, the Patriots. The rookie head coach (Meyo) and the rookie quarterback (Maye) carry plenty of enigma. They could click, but even if they do, New England is far from battling for first place.
