A victory for the visiting side will be our Al-Qadsiah vs. Al Ahli prediction this week.

Little separates the two sides heading into this week’s fifth round of matches in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Ahli will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run with a second straight win, while Al-Qadsiah are looking for a third win in five.

Firmino Hitting Form for Visitors

Former Liverpool star Roberto Firmino endured a testing first campaign in the Saudi Pro League last term, as he failed to reach double figures in terms of goals in 32 outings.

However, he has already been the leading light in the final third for the visitors this term. Firmino has netted twice in four league outings.

He will have extra help in the attacking third for the remainder of the season after Al Ahli spent big to prize Ivan Toney away from Premier League side Brentford.

The England international made an immediate impression on the Saudi Pro League, netting twice in the second period in last weekend’s 4-2 win over Damac.

Goals in Short Supply for Al-Qadsiah

Goals have been in much shorter supply for the home team this weekend. Al-Qadsiah has netted just once in their last three league matches, and they have failed to register in their previous two.

Confidence would have been gained on Sunday after the goals flowed in their King Cup of Champions success against Al-Orobah.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was among the scorers in that success, while Julian Quinones netted a brace.

But, it is worth remembering that no side in the top 12 places have scored fewer goals than Al-Orobah so far in 2024-25.

Toney to Star in Away Win

Ivan Toney’s first goals in the Saudi Pro League will be a concern for Al Ahli’s rivals this weekend, as he showed no rust after being away from the pitch since the EUROs.

The England striker will play from the start on Friday, and he would be a solid prediction to net at least twice in a comfortable win for the away team.
