The main event of the UFC 292 is the bantamweight title clash between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley. The venue is the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York.

Before Betting on Sterling vs. O’Malley

Sterling is probably the least-loved champ right now. Some believe that he shouldn’t be here, and that he had plenty of luck. Also, they think that his style of fight is extremely boring. Now, we can argue about all that, and there are plenty of pros and cons here, but Aljo is one heck of a fighter.

There isn’t any doubt about his wrestling, which is maybe the best in the UFC rankings pound-for-pound. He is able to be on the mat and suffocate the rival throughout all five rounds. Aljo has a 22-3 record, with the most recent victory coming against Henry Cejudo, a split decision, which was a controversial one. He has nine wins in a row.

On the other side is another polarizing guy, Sean O’Malley. He is either loved or hated. His last win over Petr Yan, a split decision, was considered one of the biggest rip-offs in the past two, three years. Even O’Malley himself couldn’t believe while hearing the decision. He is 16-1 and one no contest, yet without too many proper tests.

However, the hype around this guy is enormous, and the UFC probably wanted to sell that right away and use his popularity to create a big event. O’Malley is a vicious striker, with his 11 wins coming like that. However, we will see whether he can survive Aljo’s ground game.

Sterling vs. O’Malley UFC 292 Offshore Betting Odds

O’Malley didn’t show well against top guys like Yan or Vera, and we don’t have the slightest doubt in Sterling’s win here. Aljo likes one-dimensional guys and will easily drag Sean to the mat and finish him.
