The Andrey Koreshkov vs. Magomed Umalatov PFL 3 odds suggest that the fight on Friday, April 19, 2024, is going to be a real thriller. Umalatov is seen as a slight favorite, the main reason probably being that he’s 14-0 in his professional MMA career.

However, we don’t think that Andrey Koreshkov should be underestimated. After all, he’s the former champion in Bellator’s Welterweight Division.

Before Betting on Koreshkov vs. Umalatov PFL 3 Fight

Andrey Koreshkov is 27-4 overall with more than half of his wins happening by knockout/technical knockout. He’s a fantastic striker which he proved on numerous occasions, including two Bellator MMA title fights, in which he outboxed his opponents, Douglas Lima and Benson Henderson.

When he lost his title in 2016, he got KO-ed, which remains his only loss by this method. This is great news for his fans as his PFL 3 opponent is a guy whose strongest weapon is punching.

Eleven of Magomed Umalatov’s 14 wins happened by KO/TKO, including three of the five fights he fought in the PFL. This guy is still without a single career loss, but that might have something to do with the fact that he hasn’t fought any elite opponents so far. At least not as elite as his opponent at PFL 3.

Umalatov has been impressive so far, but he just hasn’t fought against such tough guys as Koreshkov who’s got 27 wins in his portfolio.

In fact, Umalatov’s toughest opponent was Leandro Silva who’s now 28-11-1-1 and who was 35 when he fought him – the fight resulted in a unanimous win by the Russian fighter.

He struggled against Silva, which is why we suspect he might struggle against Koreshov as well. Actually, we think it’s very likely that the underdog is going to stage an upset on April 19.

Pick: Andrey Koreshov
