The Kings (45-34) are going into a rut at the worst possible time of the season, going 3-5 over their last 8 which includes a 112-105 defeat at Oklahoma City on Tuesday when Sacramento held a 20 point lead at one time. New Orleans (47-32) is an interesting specimen as well, going 1-5 on their most recent home span before picking up road wins at Phoenix (113-105) and at Portland (110-100).

Before Betting on April 11 Pelicans vs Kings

New Orleans currently sits in the #6 seed which would keep them out of the play-in tournament but that seeding is far from secure. Phoenix lurks just 1/2 a game back and the Kings are 2 down, meaning Sacramento can cut that deficit in half prior to the final weekend of the regular season.

The Pelicans play on the first leg of a back to back with a visit to Golden State coming up on Friday. Brandon Ingram (knee) might come back against the Warriors but he’s still out for the visit to Sacramento. New Orleans has gone 5-5 in his absence since March 21st.

Sacramento is looking to salvage the season series against the Pelicans, already 0-4 vs New Orleans this year. The Kings’ record vs. N.O. includes two losses at the Golden 1 Center, most recently a 133-100 beatdown back in January when C.J. McCollum dropped 30 points and nobody on Sacramento had more than 17.

April 11 Pelicans vs Kings MLB Prediction & Pick

The Kings are just a -1 point favorite on Thursday and even though they are 23-15 at home, New Orleans is a great road team at 26-14. When you combine the Pels’ solid record going away combined with the Kings’ recent struggles and the fact that New Orleans has won seven of the last nine head to head meetings this play is quite obvious.

Pick: Pelicans +1
