The Astros (6-11) have found their offense lately, scoring 25 runs in a three game set against the Rangers over the weekend. Unfortunately thanks to some rough pitching, Houston was only able to win two of those three games but they hope their prowess at the plate continues when Atlanta (9-5) comes to town for a three game series starting on Monday night.
Before Betting on April 15 Braves vs Astros
Atlanta was only able to capture two of three on the road this weekend against the 3-13 Marlins, a disappointing series for sure but the Braves still hold a two game lead in the NL East. Atlanta almost lost the series but were saved by a three run HR by Marcell Ozuna on Sunday with 2 outs and 2 strikes so they have momentum coming to Houston.
Atlanta will start Darius Vines (1-0, 3.98 ERA) in the series opener at Minute Maid Park. The right-hander has started two games this season and also made three appearances in extended relief. He had a solid outing last Wednesday vs. the Cubs allowing two solo HRs over 6.0 IP and has never faced anybody on the current Astros roster.
Houston rookie Spencer Arrighetti (0-1, 21.00 ERA) makes his second career start on Monday, hoping for better results than when he allowed 7 ER and 3 walks in just 3.0 IP against Kansas City last Wednesday.

April 15 Braves vs Astros Prediction & Pick
Arrighetti didn’t look like he belonged in the major leagues in his first start, and until he logs a couple quality starts Houston cannot be a play – especially against this Braves offense.
