The Bulls get a little break heading into their play-in tournament game with the Heat, as Miami’s Jimmy Butler has been ruled out indefinitely with a knee injury suffered in Wednesday night’s win over the 76ers. Even though Miami is a bit short-handed, they are still the slight favorite at home.

Before Betting on April 19 Bulls vs Heat

Butler’s absence will definitely be felt for Miami as he was their leading scorer during the regular season at 20.8 ppg. It’s not all doom and gloom for the Heat though, as Butler only played 60 games this year with the team going 13-9 without him.

Butler had 19 points on Wednesday when Miami upset the 76ers on the road as +5.5 point underdogs. Tyler Herro stepped up big with 25 points while Bam Adebayo had a 10/12 double-double.

Chicago will look for another big outing from Coby White, who stepped up with a career high 42 points in the first play-in game, a 131-116 domination of Atlanta. Chicago has the type of veteran team that can have success in these high pressure elimination road games, as DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic combined for 46 points vs. the Hawks.

April 19 Bulls vs Heat Prediction & Pick

This was going to be a tough game for Miami even if they had Butler, because DeRozan and Vucevic are two proven professionals and the improvement of White has been something to behold. With Butler out, Miami is a hard play.
