The 2024 NHL Playoffs get underway on Saturday night with a high quality matchup between the 2nd place Bruins and the 3rd place Maple Leafs being one of the most anticipated series’. There’s no shortage of star power on the ice, but Boston has to be confident after winning all four meetings this season.

Boston had another solid season getting 2nd place in the Atlantic, but you have to think they’re a bit leery heading into the postseason following last year’s first round exit even after setting league records in wins (65) and points (135). Maybe the Bruins use that as motivation to know that no series can be taken for granted.
