The Premier League finally returns after the international break this weekend, with all 20 teams in action across Saturday and Sunday. All eyes will be on the Emirates on Saturday, as Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal look to stretch their advantage at the top of the standings when they take on Leeds United.
Before Betting On Arsenal vs Leeds
It could be advantage Arsenal before the Gunners even kick off on Saturday, as Manchester City collides with Liverpool in the early match. If the Reds are able to get the win in that fixture, then the Gunners could move eleven points clear at the summit. However, the pressure could be on Arsenal if City win, as the weekend could end with just five points separating the sides.
But, it looks challenging to bet against a win for Arsenal, as they come into the fixture after winning each of their previous six in the Premier League. Arteta’s side went into the international break in good form, as they recorded a 4-1 home win against Crystal Palace. Bukayo Saka was in fine form on that afternoon with two goals, while that form has been maintained during the international break after he scored in England’s 2-0 win over Ukraine.
Leeds United will still be wary of the threat of relegation, as they come into this weekend sitting just two points clear of the drop zone. However, the Whites are currently in better form than many of their rivals, as they have picked up seven points from the previous 12 available. A huge win was picked up in their most recent match, as they registered a 4-2 win away from home against Wolves.
Jack Harrison opened the scoring, before second half goals from Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen, and Rodrigo settled the match. However, Leeds are winless in their previous 12 against Arsenal since a 3-2 win at Highbury in May 2003.

Leeds built momentum in their most recent game on the road, but they will need a heroic effort to back that win up with another success at the Emirates. We expect the Gunners to come out firing on Saturday, and we could see them covering the (-2) spread.
