Atlanta United and New York City FC clash in Georgia this weekend. The two conference rivals are on opposite paths, as the host slowly improves their form, while on the other side, City is on the downhill.

Before Betting on Atlanta United vs. New York City FC

United had a stretch of four straight ties that ended this weekend with a win over Washington DC. That matchup ended 3-1 for the hosts, who are in the playoff zone and looking to jump even higher and avoid any pressure in the upcoming part of the campaign.

The Five Stripes play enjoyable football, with plenty of goals and chances. Their defense isn’t that stable, but the offense has been delivering regularly, and that’s their biggest strength. Atlanta’s last six games were with three or more goals, and the five with both teams netting.

Nick Cushing and his City are in terrible shape, not winning in the past ten events across all the competitions. They had six losses and four draws throughout that interval, and they hadn’t looked well at all. There is something very wrong with the Citizens whose chemistry is non-existent.

They have been without a win on the road since the season ended, and we often saw them so inferior, without a solution on how to respond and be competitive. Right now, NYCFC has three draws in a row, netting just once during those 270 minutes.

The United is an absolute favorite, and it should be because they look much better than the rivals. The Citizens’ record on the road tells pretty much everything, so we aren’t going to take too much of your time but tell you right away that anything but Atlanta’s triumph would be a bust.
