The Diamondbacks (along with the Padres) aren’t going anywhere, as Los Angeles has the most wins in MLB but still have just a 4 game lead in the NL West.

Zac Gallen (10-6, 3.65 ERA) is up in the rotation for Arizona trying to find some consistency in his last start of the month. In two of his four August starts Gallen has allowed 1 ER over 10.1 IP, in his other two he’s surrendered 9 ER over 12.0 IP. Three of those starts were on the road, and Gallen’s splits are better at home (3.19) compared to away (4.17). Gallen has held the Dodgers to just a .224 average in 147 combined ABs.
