Thursday Night Football kicks off at the Landover Field in DC, where home Commanders meet the Chicago Bears. Both teams are coming off tight losses and are desperate to erase those bad memories.

Before Betting on Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders

The Bears had a win in their hands against the Denver Broncos. They were up 28-7 against Russell Wison and the boys, with Justin Fields playing a near-perfect game. Though, the situation changed in the finish, with the guests from Colorado making a 24-0 run to close the game in their favor.

Fields had 28 competitions in 35 tries, with 355 passing yards and four touchdowns, yet his fantastic game didn’t result in his team’s first triumph of the campaign. The Bears are 0-4 right now, looking unstable and unable to break the rivals. Also, their defense took a step back, allowing 34.3 points in the opening four contests.

On the other side, the Commanders had to go through the OT defeat against the NFC champs and their division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, 34-31. This was the second loss in a row for the team from the US capital after a rough experience against the Buffalo Bills, 37-3.

We have to say that the Commanders looked well against the Eagles, but the lack of experience in the crucial moments was what separated the two units. Sam Howell did well with 290 passing yards and one touchdown, not having any interceptions. The O-line didn’t do its job, allowing five sacks on their QB, who already survived 24 in these four contests.

The Bears’ defense will have to wrestle with a solid offense across the field. We like the Commanders’ options in the attack, and the team is well-rounded (Robinson and Gibson on the ground, McLaurin as a passing threat), and as time goes by, they will be even better once Howell and the O-line click better. We don’t have any doubts here – the Commanders are our pick.
