Chicago has looked leaps and bounds better offensively while scoring 29+ points in each of their last four games, but that hasn’t translated to wins as the Bears (3-7) are just 1-3 over that span. Atlanta is coming off their mini-bye after a 25-15 loss in Carolina on the Thursday night game on November 10th, but their offense looks like Chicago’s from earlier in the season being held to 17 points or less in 4 of the last 6.
Before Betting on Bears vs Falcons
Chicago’s dynamic QB Justin Fields is coming home in the Bears vs Falcons matchup, going to Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia and starting out his collegiate career at UGA before a transfer to Ohio State. Fields is still growing in the passing game, but he’s one of the best running weapons in the NFL with 325 rush yards nd 3 TDs in the last two games.
Chicago comes in with the #1 running attack in the NFL, but where you burn Atlanta is with the pass as they allow the most yards through the air at 280.1. Make no mistake, the Falcons will give up chunks on the ground too (119.4) as their 399.5 total yards surrendered is second most in the league.
It’s really almost kind of a shocker that the Falcons are 4-6 and just a game out of 1st place in the NFC South considering they not only have the league’s worst pass defense, but the second worst pass offense. Atlanta can run the ball though, and some extra time off since last Thursday should get ex-Bear Cordarelle Patterson a bit healthier to slice and dice his former team.

Bears vs Falcons Prediction & Pick
Fields is coming home but that Bears defense is still atrocious as evidenced by a 31-30 loss to Detroit last week and falling 35-32 to Miami before that. Those games were at Soldier Field which has arguably the worst turf in the NFL, so expect maybe even more points on the fast turf of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
