The Cincinnati Bengals are set to kick off their season against division rivals, the Cleveland Browns. After their impressive run to the AFC title game last year, the Bengals are eager to make another deep playoff push. Meanwhile, the Browns hope to see a massive improvement from their 7-10 record in 2022.

Before Betting on Bengals vs. Browns Week 1

Burrow’s calf injury during training camp has been a hot topic in Cincinnati. However, he appears to be making significant progress and is expected to be ready for Week 1. With weapons like Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins at his disposal, Burrow is poised to lead the Cinci’s high-powered offense deep in the playoffs.

The defense seems solid at the moment, and honestly, it doesn’t receive the credit their teammates from the offensive unit do. Do know that the Bengals allowed the fifth-fewest number of points in the previous campaign. That simply needs to be credited.

Meanwhile, the Browns, whose previous season was a failure, are banking on quarterback Deshaun Watson’s return to form. The former Clemson Tigers star and one of the most controversial QBs in the league struggled last year, but many believe that with a full season under his belt, he will once again showcase his elite skills.

The big problem for the home team are injuries of their two big defensive contributors, Denzel Ward and Greg Newsom II. The two have a massive impact on the defensive side of the ball and are supporting Myles Garrett, sometimes even impacting the game more than the former top pick.

Even though the Bengals come to Cleveland as slight favorites, we wouldn’t bet on their victory here because this event could go either way. The best pick here would be to go with Over, because of not only the Bengals’ offense but Cleveland’s as well. It seems that most people have forgotten how good Watson is, and knowing this guy, he will be a completely different animal this year compared to the previous one.
