Our Bengals vs Giants prediction is for the Bengals to cover the point spread -3 (-125).
The Cincinnati Bengals (1-4) visit the New York Giants (2-3) hoping to restart their season and get back into playoff contention. The Giants want to build on their impressive week 5 win over the Seahawks in Seattle.
Offshore Odds: Bengals Slightly Favored on the Road
Team | Spread | Money Line | Total |

The Bengals’ Playoff Hopes Are Likely Gone if They Lose
Bill Parcells once said, “You are what your record says you are.”
Nothing could be truer than with the Bengals. Sure, a break here and a break there (as well as a timely call against the Chiefs) and they could be 5-0 instead of 1-4. They have lost those four games by a total of 15 points. But the record is 1-4 and the situation is one in which they are in desperate need of wins.
Apart from their embarrassing week 1 loss to the woeful Patriots, the Bengals’ offense has been excellent. They’re fourth in the NFL in points scored and seventh in total points. Defensively, they’re sixth in total yards allowed and second in points allowed.
Quarterback Joe Burrow is leading the NFL in touchdown passes and they have a strong running game with Chase Brown averaging 5.6 yards per carry. But with teams like the Bengals that have a high-powered offense and a flailing defense, there is no margin for error.
Giants Have Been Better Than Expected
The Giants were expected to be perhaps the worst team in the NFL, but they put a scare into the Cowboys and Commanders while beating the Seahawks. Furthermore, they have shown they can compete.
Quarterback Daniel Jones may never live up to his lofty draft status having been taken sixth overall, but he is showing himself to be a capable game manager.
Star rookie WR Malik Nabers remains in concussion protocol and pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux is week to week after his wrist surgery. The Giants may have an issue scoring and keeping the Bengals out of the end zone without those key players.
Prediction: Bengals Will Blow Out the Giants
Cincinnati knows its season is teetering on the brink of irrelevance. They need to win. Otherwise, they will be 1-5 with losses to two teams expected to be in the bottom-10 of the NFL.
The Giants’ key injuries on offense and defense and the Bengals’ desperation are too much for New York. Accordingly, that leads us to our Bengals vs Giants prediction of the Bengals winning big and easily covering the light spread of three points.
