Two of what look to be the premier teams in the AFC meet up to close out the penultimate slate of the 2022/23 regular season. Buffalo (12-3) is a slight underdog at the offshore sportsbooks even on the road against the Bengals (11-4). There’s value on both teams here, as Cincinnati has won seven straight and is 5-1 at home while the Bills have won six in a row and are a decent 6-2 in road tilts this season.

Before Betting on Bills vs Bengals

Temperatures in the 50s in Ohio are going to seem like Spring break for the Bills, who have played Miami at home in a snow storm and then traveled to an arctic Chicago over their last two games. Buffalo has still picked up a 32-29 and a 35-13 win respectively, so their offense is clicking even in horrible weather conditions.

The Bills will likely need to score some points on Monday night, as this is going to be a great showdown between two of the best young QBs in the NFL, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. Both players have thrown for over 4,000 yards and 32 TDs this season, with the Bills ranking #2 in total offense and Cincinnati 7th.

If there’s an intangible that leans Buffalo’s way, it’s that they have a better running game, but a lot of that does stem from Allen as well (746 yards). The Bills have a slightly better pass defense, but the Bengals are also at home so you could make a case for either side here.

Bills vs Bengals Prediction & Pick

The Bengals are back home after a two game road trip, and have looked good in winning five straight on their own turf including a 27-24 victory over the Chiefs in week 13 as +2.5 underdogs. The Bills get to play in decent weather conditions for once, but in a game that is likely going to come down to one break here or there, it’s best to go with the home squad.
Pick: Bengals +1
