The Buffalo Bills are in their old stomping grounds, being forced to play in Detroit last Sunday because of inclement weather in Orchard Park Buffalo (7-3) goes from the adopted sons of Motown last week, to public enemy #1 as the hometown Lions (4-6) look for their unprecedented fourth straight win.

Before Betting on Bills vs Lions

It wasn’t pretty for much of the first half, but Buffalo finally snapped out of their funk over the final 30 minutes to upend Cleveland 31-23 last week at Ford Field. The Bills were coming off consecutive 3-point defeats (20-17 to the Jets, 33-30 to Minnesota) so just getting any kind of win was important to get Buffalo back on track.

There has to be some sort of advantage for the Bills playing at Ford Field for a second straight week, especially considering Detroit has been on the road the last two weeks. We will see if Buffalo QB Josh Allen looks a little more comfortable this week following a meager 18/27, 196 yard passing day against the Browns.

It will take a lot to get the upset in the Bills vs Lions matchup as double-digit underdogs, but if Detroit can pull this off they’ll be right in the wild card hunt. The Lions’ 15-9 win over Green Bay and their 31-30 victory against Chicago may have been taking advantage of a couple teams with a combined 7-15 record, but last week’s 31-18 dismantling of the 7-3 Giants on their home field proves Detroit might just be for real.

Bills vs Lions Prediction & Pick

Allen and the Bills passing game is probably going to get theirs on Thanksgiving Day, as the Lions gave up 341 yards passing to Daniel Jones last week and have the league’s worst total yardage defense (415.9 ypg). That being said anything more than a TD is too many points to be giving here as Detroit has momentum, a solid running game, and a QB in Jared Goff who only has one INT his last four games.
