The inaugural UFL season has finally reached the postseason! This semifinal matchup faces a clash between the San Antonio Brahmas (7-3) and the St. Louis Battlehawks (7-3). The winner will claim the XFL conference title and a spot in the title game. These two teams faced off last week, with the Battlehawks winning it 13-12.

Before Betting on Brahmas vs Battlehawks

The Brahmas came up short last week, falling to 7-3 on the season. The unfortunate result of their defeat is that this week’s playoff game will now be played on the road in St. Louis. Had they won, a home game would have provided an easier path to the finals. Either way, San Antonio needs to overcome the Battlehawks and avenge last week’s defeat to avoid elimination. QB Quinten Dormandy will be aiming to heat back up here.

St. Louis locked down home-field advantage for this game following their Week 10 win over the Brahmas. QB AJ McCarron struggled significantly in the win, completing just 10 of 24 passes for 115 yards, a TD, and an INT. The Battlehawks managed to ride their defense to a 1-point victory, but McCarron needs to bounce back this week for them to have a chance at winning again. St. Louis has their eyes on a title game against the Stallions.

The UFL saw both of its playoff matchups get a practice match in last week, with the playoff teams facing the same matchup two weeks in a row. On the XFL side of the league, the Battlehawks picked up a 1-point win at home against the Brahmas on Saturday. That matchup ended up having little importance, but the rematch this week is crucial. St. Louis has been one of the most consistent teams all year, and should win here at home.
