Before Betting On Brighton vs Man United

It would be fair to say that both Man United and Brighton have fallen short in achieving the goals that they would have been set at the start of the campaign. United will have one final chance to salvage the 2023-24 season when they take on Man City in the FA Cup final, but they come into this final round of league matches after winning just once in their last four.

However, it could be worth noting that their only victory was secured in their previous outing after battling to a 3-2 home success against Newcastle United. A big bonus for the Red Devils was the return to fitness of a number of key stars, with Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez both coming off the bench in that success.

Brighton have also fallen short in their targets this season, as they have failed to kick on after securing European qualification last term. The Seagulls are in a fight to finish in the top half of the standings, as they will need to match Bournemouth’s result on the final day. They come into this final round after suffering a 2-1 home loss against Chelsea in midweek.

Brighton’s recent league record against United is very impressive, as they have won each of the last four. That includes victories in each of their two home matches against the Red Devils, scoring five goals and keeping back-to-back clean sheets.

We fully expect Erik ten Hag to ring the changes this weekend ahead of the FA Cup final against City. For that reason, we could see Brighton ending the campaign with a home success in front of their own fans.
