Broncos vs. Buccaneers Head-to-Head Stats

Broncos have a lead in the head-to-head record. They have won seven contests, while the Bucs have just three victories against the same opponents.

Before Betting

Bo Nix’s start in the NFL is far from desired. Furthermore, it’s a nightmare. After two rounds, the young QB had no touchdown passes and was picked four times. Plus, in the last appearance against the Steelers, his ultimate attempt to save the game ended with an interception. Therefore, all of his 246 passing yards went down the drain. The Broncos lost that one 13-6.

Denver’s OC, Joe Lombardi, needs to do his homework better, not only because of Nix, but also because the Broncos ran only 64 yards in this event, with Nix generating 25 of those. Of course, they had the Steelers on the opposite side, but it’s way too low, no matter the rivals.

Tampa Bay started its fourth straight season at 2-0. Their most recent victims were the Detroit Lions on the road, 20-16. If the Bucs play like this throughout the entire year, they could not only enter the playoffs, but also win a game in the postseason.

Baker Mayfield was at the center of attention, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another. He had only 185 passing yards with a pick as well and was sacked five times, but the former No.1 pick showed resilience and delivered. Chris Godwin had 117 receiving yards for a TD, while the Bucs defense had no sacks in this one. Interesting.

Broncos vs. Buccaneers Prediction

Nix’s “growing up” process will be challenging for the Broncos. And right now, we can’t see them improving results anytime soon, especially not in this round.

Tampa Bay is very good at home and should cover the spread here.
