The Baltimore Ravens (11-5) host the Cleveland Browns (3-13) in the final game of the NFL regular season. They need a win or a Steelers loss to clinch the AFC North. Should they win, they host a Wild Card playoff game. If they lose and the Steelers beat the Bengals, Baltimore needs to go on the road. Our Browns vs Ravens prediction is for the teams to combine to score less than 41.5 points.

Head-to-head, Baltimore leads with a 36-15 record.

Offshore Odds: Baltimore is Favored by a Massive 17.5 Points

Cleveland’s Dreadful Season Comes to a Close

The Browns are trying to get their horrid season over with. Head coach Kevin Stefanski had already inserted an inferior quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson to replace Jameis Winston in Week 16. In the two games Thompson-Robinson has started, the team scored nine points. Now Stefanski announced that Thompson-Robinson might share time with Patriots castoff Bailey Zappe.

Cleveland has lost five straight and the last game in which they put up a major fight was in Week 14 against Pittsburgh. Since then they have been outscored by Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Miami by a combined 65-16.

Most of their top players including Myles Garrett, David Njoku, Jerome Ford, and Denzel Ward are questionable. It’s not hard to see where this game is headed for them.

Before Week 18’s slate, Cleveland has the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Presumably, they would like to stay there or move up.

Baltimore Hopes to End Matters Early

If the Ravens can build a big enough lead and Cleveland capitulates, they can get Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, and Kyle Van Noy among others out of there to rest for the Wild Card.

Stats can be largely thrown out the window in this type of game, but Jackson is on the shortlist for his third MVP. That would put him in a select company with Jim Brown, Johnny Unitas, Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Peyton Manning.

Baltimore lost to Cleveland 29-24 earlier in the season, but a loss here would be a cataclysmic upset. They’re a veteran team. Head coach John Harbaugh does not need to emphasize its importance for their Super Bowl hopes. They will win. The only question is if they will cover that ginormous point spread.

Browns vs Ravens Prediction: Baltimore Settles Matters Early

Baltimore cannot lose this game and will not lose this game. Still, 17.5 points is a lot especially when both teams might wink and nod at a certain point to just get it over with. Baltimore will build up a lead and call off the dogs. The teams will score less than 41.5 points.
