Two teams riding 3-game win streaks meet up on Friday night in Big D when the Milwaukee Bucks (17-6) square off against the Dallas Mavericks (13-11). The offshore sportsbooks have the Bucks favored here, but by the slightest of margins in what they’re essentially calling a toss-up game.

Before Betting on Bucks vs Mavericks

Milwaukee has rolled through Charlotte (105-96) and Orlando (109-102) on the road during their current win streak and most recently beat an improved Kings squad 126-113 at home on Wednesday. The Bucks are 6-2 in their last eight, a stretch in which Giannis Antetokounmpo has gone for 30+ in each game which has tied a franchise record.

Dallas’ three game win streak resume is the more impressive of the two teams, picking up road wins against the Knicks (121-100) and Nuggets (116-115). The victory over Denver also came on the second leg of a back-to-back following a 130-111 home dismantling of the Suns. Antetokounmpo is on fire for the Bucks, but so is Luka Doncic for the Mavericks as he just had a 22/10/12 triple double to lead the win over Denver.

Doncic and Antetokounmpo can basically cancel each other out in Friday night’s matchup, so this really comes down to who has the better supporting cast. Jrue Holiday just had his second highest scoring game of the season (31 points) in the Bucks’ win over the Kings, can Dallas find an equal in maybe Spencer Dinwiddie or Christian Wood?

Bucks vs Mavericks Prediction & Pick

Friday night’s game is basically an MVP resume builder between Doncic and Antetokounmpo. Giannis already has the upper hand with the Bucks winning 124-115 over Dallas at home on November 27th. that game was all about supporting cast as six Milwaukee players scored over 13 points. Dinwiddie and Wood also both had 20+ points in that contest, and Dallas gets their revenge game win here.
Pick: Mavericks +1
