The CONCACAF Nations League final takes place in Las Vegas this weekend, as the defending champions look to win a second straight title. The USA landed success in the inaugural event, but they could face a stiff test to successfully defend their honor against Canada on Sunday.

Before Betting On Canada vs USA

Another thrilling edition of the CONCACAF Nations League draws to a close this weekend, as the final two teams in contention clash in the final at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The United States will have home field advantage for the final, but they were beaten in their most recent showdown against Canada a couple of years ago.

America needed to work extremely hard to book their spit in a second straight final, as they came up against Mexico at the semi-final stage on Thursday evening. The United States calmed their nerves with the opening goal after 37 minutes, before Christian Pulisic added a quick second just a minute into the second period. Their victory was assured with a third with just over ten minutes remaining, as Ricardo Pepi found the net. However, the American side will come into this final with a number of key suspensions, with both Weston McKennie and Sergino Dest sent off against Mexico.

Canada will likely be the outsiders in the betting for this Nations League final on Sunday, but they have shown over the last couple of years that they are a young side on an upward trajectory. A huge success this Sunday would see them build even more momentum before the start of the 2023 Gold Cup in the United States.

The Canadian side didn’t allow their semi-final to get away from them, as they broke the Panama resistance early in the match following Jonathan David’s opener after just 25 minutes. However, they weren’t able to add a second goal until the 69th minute when Alphonso Davies secured their spot in the final.

This should be a close final between the two leading nations in the CONCACAF region. However, we could see a slight shock result being the eventual outcome. The absence of key players for the United States could be telling, as a chance will be taken on Canada to win their first Nations League title.
