Somebody Gets Their First Win Here
Arizona has to face another high potency offense as they head into the Cardinals Raiders week 2 matchup. The Cards’ got rocked 44-21 at home by the Chiefs in week one as Patrick Mahomes went 30/39 for 360 yards and 5 TDs.
The Raiders weren’t as high flying in week one as they hope to be the rest of the year, losing 24-19 to the Chargers. Consider that a ‘work out the kinks’ game as Josh McDaniels was making his debut as the Las Vegas head coach and Davante Adams played in his first game as a Raider after spending 8 years in Green Bay.
Make no mistake, Adams and Derek Carr showed a connection in game one, with Carr finding his former college teammate 10 times for 141 yards including a late TD. Carr still needs to be better this week after throwing 3 INTs. We will see if the Arizona secondary has issues, or if their week one performance was just Mahomes being Mahomes.
Kyler Murray had 193 yards passing and 2 TDs last week but those two TDs also came in the 4th quarter which Kansas City had already built up a 37-7 lead. Justin Herbert went 26/34 for 279 yards and 3 TDs against the Raiders last week so there should be some opportunity for Murray to air things out here.

Cardinals Raiders Week 2 Prediction
It’s a tough spot for Arizona to open their season with two AFC West opponents, a division which many people think will be the best in the NFL this year. The Cardinals couldn’t go blow-for-blow with Mahomes last week at home, so it’s hard to envision them staying in it with Carr and the Raiders in Las Vegas on Sunday.
