Novak Djokovic will have the toughest possible rival in the Roland Garros semis – Carlos Alcaraz.
Before Betting on Alcaray vs. Djokovic Roland Garros
The Spanish sensation is bulling his rivals so far, beating them confidently and without signs of struggle. He is by far the most dominant player on the clay surface and proves that each day. So far in Paris, Alcaraz lost only one set.
His performance in the quarterfinals against Stefanos Tsitsipas was more than impressive, beating the former finalist here in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1, 7-6. Previously, he was better than Musetti and Shapovalov, beating these two much easier than expected.
Novak lost his first set in the quarterfinals. The opening sequence of the event against Karen Khachanov saw the Serb lose, but he would take the Russian’s sole after that, winning three in a row. Djokovic played four tie-breaks in Paris, winning each one.
He is playing good tennis, but overall, we are noticing some cracks in his game. Djokovic isn’t as strong in relays as before, and the pause he had to take due to his vaccination status took a toll on his shape.

Carlos is fantastic, and even though we love Novak, his current game can’t match Alcaraz’s. The Spaniard is magnificent on clay, and his form is at a higher level, so we expect to see him advancing to the finals.
