Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are in the 2023 Wimbledon finals. The two superstars proved they are the best tennis has to offer for the moment, reaching the finals without too much trouble.

Before Betting on Carlos Alcaraz vs. Novak Djokovic

Just a few expected to see Alcaraz rolling over Daniil Medvedev this easy in the semis. It was 3-0 for the Spaniard, 6-3 in each set, with him having 71% of the successful first serve and a similar percentage for points won on his first serve.

Alcaraz had a very rough part of the draw, meeting with Chardy and Muller in the first two rounds, then Jary and Berrettini later on, before beating Rune and Medvedev. Though, he had no problems in eliminating each of his rivals, posting nothing but impressive results.

Novak Djokovic had a more intense battle with the crowd than Jannik Sinner, and on Friday afternoon, the Serb won both. He dispatched Sinner in straight sets, beating the Italian easily in pretty much all aspects of play. Novak’s first serve was below 60%, and he still stayed on top.

Djokovic had to defeat Cachin, Thompson, Wawrinka, Hurkacz, and Rublev before Sinner, and he lost only two sets, against the Polish and the Russian player. As usual, his form is going us as time goes by, and we expect him to be 100% in the finals.

Alcaraz has been on fire recently, but so is Novak. We’ve seen the Spaniard even in better form in Paris, on his favorite surface, but he couldn’t beat the 23-time Grand Slan champ. Novak’s Wimbledon finals are always very intense and rough, and we have to give him the edge here, even though Carlos plays more flamboyant tennis nowadays.
