The New York Knicks lead 2-1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers and play Game 4 at Madison Square Garden.
Before Betting On the Cavaliers vs. Knicks
The Cavs lost the home court edge in the game in the opening contest of the series and are now in a very problematic situation. The NYK blew away the rivals in Game 3, 99-79, ripping apart their offense while displaying the defensive clinic not seen in these playoffs.
A poor three-point percentage was yet another problem for the Cavs, who made only seven of their 33 downtown attempts. So they didn’t have a solution on how to create space and stretch the Knicks’ defense without long artillery. Donovan Mitchell had 22 points, Caris LeVert 17, and Darius Garland scored 10, 4-for-21 from the field.
Meanwhile, the Knicks and Tom Thibodeau had a superb night. The defense was rigid and aggressive, and the officials allowed a bit feistier approach in that aspect of the game. Meanwhile, the possessions were long, with RJ Barrett and Jalen Brunson doing most of the action on the offensive side of the ball.
Brunson had 21 buckets, while Barrett added 19. What mattered were solid shooting percentages, with the two combining 20 hits in 30 shots. Julius Randle couldn’t find his rhythm and finished the game with 11 buckets.

The Cavs couldn’t adapt to the Knicks’ low-tempo game and their physical defense since the playoffs began. That’s why the hosts have better chances of winning tonight.
