Boston, already leading by 10 points at the break, increased its advantage to 25 points, outscoring Detroit by a 34-24 margin in the third quarter. The Celtics’ defense held the Pistons to 42.9 percent shooting from the field and just 7-for-37 from beyond the arc — a conversion rate of 18.9 percent.

Wizards Have Had A Tough Season

Meanwhile, the Wizards are one of the worst teams in the association, as their 3-20 record indicates.
