Chelsea and Nottingham Forest clash on Saturday at Stamford Bridge. The hosts are the absolute favorites, though, Forest troubled their previous rivals on the road, so the Blues can’t take anything for granted.

Before Betting on Chelsea vs. Nottingham Forest

Chelsea hopes to see some progress after the opening few rounds in which they haven’t posted some particularly impressive results. The win over Luton last Friday, 3-0, was the first for this unit, who played well against both Liverpool and West Ham. We can say that the key moment for the loss to the Hammers was Enzo’s missed penalty in the late part of the first half.

Mauricio Pochettino had one big problem, which completely disrupted his tactics – Nkunku’s injury. It happened just before the start of the year, with the French striker being the centerpiece of the new Chelsea team. Though, the Blues performed solidly in the attack, and the back line was a much bigger problem.

Forest had a nasty schedule, with them visiting Arsenal and Manchester United while playing at home against Sheffield United and beating the Blades 2-1. We have to say that they didn’t disappoint against both of the powerhouses on the road, giving them a hard time but not having the composure to do something bigger.

Steve Cooper’s boys had a very tough and exhausting event in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night. We’ve seen several of their starters involved and it remains a question of whether they will be 100% ready for this game.

The hosts are extremely gifted on the attacking side of the field despite lacking Nkunku’s help. We expect them to keep on with a good rhythm, which started against Luton, and to post another victory at home. Chelsea is a much better unit, so their triumph is inevitable, furthermore, we expect to see them beat Forest by at least a two-goal margin.
