The reigning Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, visit the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. The hosts need a win, which would allow them to stay in the hunt for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Chiefs need a victory as well, as they seek to end up in the top place in the AFC.

Before Betting on Chiefs vs. Packers Sunday Night Football

We can all agree that Patrick Mahomes still isn’t anywhere near his best form. With nine picks and two fumbles so far, the reigning NFL MVP is still trying to find his pace. Even though he did post 21 TD passes for 2,917 yards, that’s simply not his level.

The Chiefs are oscillating a lot, and over the past five games, the champs posted subsequent wins and losses. An especially alarming defeat was at home against the Eagles two weeks ago, 21-17, but the Chiefs bounced back easily, dispatching the Raiders in Las Vegas, 31-17.

Jordan Love is gradually adapting to the NFL standards, and overall, he has had a solid season so far. No, Love didn’t explode, nor did he post some unreal numbers, but for his first years and a completely new Packers offense, this looks decent.

Green Bay is apparently on the rise, winning three of the past four games, narrowly losing the one in Pittsburgh. The most recent triumph over the Lions in Detroit is something that gave them a much-needed boost. Especially to Love, who had three touchdown passes without a single pick.

This will be a true test for Love and his offensive line, because, despite their sluggish results lately, the Chiefs have an outstanding defense. Also, the weather in Wisconsin will be tough, and that’s why we picked under 42.5 points. No need to repeat that Mahomes isn’t in some particularly shiny shape.
