Before Betting On China Open

The competitive action on the European Tour continues this weekend, as it co-sanctions the China Open alongside the Asian Tour, China Tour, and the OneAsia Tour. This event has been staged annually since 1995, with the Hidden Grace Golf Club playing host to the competitive event. The par 72 event boasts a purse of $1.5 million, with the field competing over a total distance of 7,147 yards.

Nicolas Colsaerts is the most dominant winner of the event in its history. The star won the 2011 edition of the China Open with an aggregate score of 264 after finishing 24-under par. However, the most recent winner of the event was Sarit Suwannarut. But, for the first time since 2019, European Tour stars will be involved this week.

Sebastian Soderberg once again looks to be among the leading contenders after impressive at the recent Championship in Japan. The Swede finished second in that event, just three shots behind the eventual winner. He is a proven star on the European Tour after landing six professional victories.

Tom McKibbin also enjoyed a solid outing in Japan last week after finishing in a tie for seventh. That was an excellent return to form after failing to make the cut at the Singapore Classic. Bernd Wiesberger could also be a challenging competitor to rule out despite finishing down in a tie for 23rd at the Championship in Japan last weekend.
