The Bengals have three straight victories, and it seems that their backup quarterback, Jake Browning, adapted to the NFL demands over the past few weeks. Sure, he isn’t a youngster anymore, but like anybody else, he needed a little time to adapt.
Browning debuted against the Steelers and, after that, significantly improved the Bengals’ offense, which scored 95 points in total in the upcoming three contests, with him throwing five touchdown passes. After defeating the Bengals a month ago, the Steelers suffered three consecutive defeats, two of them at home, complicating their situation in the playoff hunt. It’s incredible to see Mike Tomlin’s team slowing down like this, even though they, too, experienced several big-time injuries.
The offense is terrible, generating 41 points across these three meetings, and we don’t want to sound harsh, but Mitch Trubisky isn’t the player for the NFL. He is inconsistent, his decisions are questionable, and, on top of all, he ruins the team’s morale.
