Sweet 16 brings a match between the Clemson Tigers and the Arizona Wildcats. Clemson is way past the expected, with them clashing with one of the dark horses for the NCAA title this year. The game tips off at 7:09 pm ET in Los Angeles.

Before Betting on Clemson Tigers vs. Arizona Wildcats

The Tigers have 23 wins this year and 11 losses, with then being a 7-point underdog in this event. They were extremely rough on the defensive side since the start of the tournament, limiting Baylor to 64 and New Mexico to only 56 points in their previous two events.

In addition, the Tigers held the rivals to 39% and 30% shooting from the field, respectively, in these two matches, which is why they reached the Sweet 16. PJ Hall is their top player, with the center scoring 15.8 points per night and 4.6 boards in the last ten matches. Though, he’ll see plenty of trouble against the Wildcats.

On the other side, Arizona is among the ten best-ranked defenses in the country, with them allowing 71.9 points throughout this year. Meanwhile, the No.2 seed averages 87.6 points scored on the other side of the court. In 35 matches played, we saw them win on 27 occasions and lose just eight times.

In the past two events, they destroyed Long Beach State 85-65 and beat Daytona Flyers 78-68. Their form looks solid, and this will be a test. Caleb Love, the senior guard, scores 18.1 points, 4.9 boards, and 3.5 assists per game and is, by far, this team’s top weapon.

The Tigers are brave and will give their best here, but we don’t think they have enough power to endanger the Wildcats. Simply put, the team from Arizona is more versatile and better on both ends of the court, which is why we picked them to win and cover the spread.
