Before Betting On Coca-Cola 600

The second Crown Jewel race on the NASCAR schedule will be staged this weekend in North Carolina, as the Coca-Cola 600 takes place. This race will make up the 14th leg of the season, and the pressure will be increasing on the drivers that will be looking to secure a place in the playoffs.

This race has been staged annually since 1960, with the field completing a total of 400 laps. Each of the four stages in the race consists of 100 laps, with the field completing a total distance of 600 miles. Darrell Waltrip holds the record for most race wins with five, while Hendrick Motorsports has had the winner on 12 occasions.

Joey Logano enjoyed an excellent weekend last Sunday after coming out on top in a thrilling edition of the All Star Race. Continuing that form will now be his biggest challenge, as he looks for a first regular season win of the season. However, his chances could be negatively impacted based on the fact that he has finished in the top ten on just two occasions.

Kyle Larson continues to sit at the top of the Drivers’ Standings at this stage after winning twice already this term. However, his advantage was cut after finishing just 34th in the Goodyear 400. Ryan Blaney may also be challenging to overlook this weekend after winning the race in excellent style last year.
