On Tuesday – the UCLA Bruins and Bonnies of St. Bonaventure will get together in one of the first four play-in games as part of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The winner of this game will get a shot at the Florida Gators in the first round of the tournament. The UCLA Bruins come into the game with a 22-11 record on the season and finished third in the Pac-12.

The Wildcats then turned around and beat the Bonnies in the conference tournament by 12.
St. Bonaventure does not have the tournament history of their opponent, but the school has been there before. This will be the 7th season that St. Bonaventure will play in the Big Dance. The Bonnies have a trip to the Final Four and 6 tournament wins in their history.
Bruins Have the History Behind Them
On the other side – one of the most successful programs in all of college basketball is in action. UCLA is playing in the NCAA Tournament for the 49th time. They have been to the Final Four 18 times, and have 105 wins. The Bruins have not won a national title since the 1995 season.
UCLA is led by the high scoring Aaron Holiday, who scored more than 20 per game. Head Coach Steve Alford and his UCLA Bruins come into the game after losing to Arizona in the conference tournament. The Bruins first beat Stanford in the 4/5 game. The Bruins have two non conference losses, both to tournament teams – Cincinnati and Michigan.

The UCLA Bruins are the favorites in this game, and they should win this game. If the Bruins do not take care of the basketball though, St. Bonaventure will take advantage of that and beat the Bruins. In the end though, the more talented team is UCLA, with the best player on the court in Aaron Holiday.
