The most prestigious match in South American soccer will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium this Sunday, as Argentina and Colombia collide in the Copa America final. Argentina will be chasing a second consecutive honor.

Before Betting On Argentina vs Colombia

The Copa America final is set for this weekend as Argentina bids to make history and retain the title. The reigning world champions have been at their dominant best throughout the competition, and they will come into this showdown against Colombia as the clear favorites in the betting to add a third major honor in five years.

Argentina were extremely comfortable in their semi-final clash in midweek, holding off a spirited Canada side to claim a 2-0 success in the U.S. Julian Alvarez opened the scoring after 22 minutes, before Lionel Messi netted his first goal of the tournament early in the second half.

Colombia have been consistent at the Copa America throughout recent history, finishing third on four occasions since 1993. However, this weekend, they will be looking to win the competition for just the second time in their history after previously picking up the honor in 2001.

Confidence around the camp will be extremely high, as they come into the final after going 17 internationals without defeat over the last 12 months. They have won four of their five matches at the Copa America this summer, and upset the odds in the previous round to score a dramatic 1-0 win over Uruguay.

Argentina vs Colombia Head to Head

Argentina are unbeaten in their last three internationals against Colombia, with the previous clash between the sides ending in a 1-0 win for Argentina in February 2022. Colombia’s only win in their last 14 matches against their South American rivals was achieved in June 2019.
