After a dazzling UFC 291, up next we have UFC Fight Night Nashville, with the main event of the evening a bantamweight bout between Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font.

Before Betting on Cory Sandhagen vs. Rob Font

Sandhagen is one of the most spectacular guys not only in the division, but the UFC as well. Entering this contest, he has back-to-back wins, one over Song Yadong and the other against Marlon Vera. It was a perfect way for him to recover after two defeats in a row, to TJ Dillashaw and Petr Yan.

The Sandman is one of the best strikers in the division, and what makes him so good is his athleticism, long reach, and the fact that this guy hits from all possible and impossible positions. He will try unconventional moves at the least expected moments, and that’s why everyone loves him.

On the other side is the veteran of the sport, Rob Font, who was always close to getting the opportunity to attack the title but never got one. Font’s record is 20 victories and six losses so far, and two of those defeats happened not so while ago. One to Jose Aldo and the other to Vera, both via decisions. A win in either would put him in the title mix.

The 36-year-old bounced back with a vicious KO against Adrian Yanez, whom he obliterated in the first round. Font is a heavy hitter, and a skilled boxer who has a very strong chin. Throughout his career, the American was never knocked out, losing all but one event via decision.

Sandhagen has an edge here because of his longer reach. Font relied upon that all the time, and never really came up with a game plan that would work well for him in those situations where he doesn’t have a physical edge. So our pick here would be the Sandman.
