The big rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants opens the 2023 NFL season for these two units. MetLife Stadium in East Rutheford hosts the first Sunday Night Football this year.

Before Betting on Cowboys vs. Giants

Dallas’ offense is set to undergo some changes this season following the departure of offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and running back Ezekiel Elliott. They made a bet on Tony Pollard, and let’s see how that goes. Zeke was one of the icons of the team, but he simply had to leave in order for Prescott and the others to stay.

The Cowboys’ defense has been producing high-level performances last year, and they should continue doing the same. With 20.1 allowed points per game, they’ve been the fifth overall in the NFL, and that’s something we all need to credit. To cut it short, everything in Dallas depends upon Dak Prescott this year, and his displays will determine whether they have a good or a bad campaign.

Can Giants keep on with their progress? That’s the question. Brian Daboll did his job perfectly, and the Giants became relevant again. Now, many say that the team from the Big Apple had plenty of luck, yet we disagree.

Daniel Jones showed his potential, and it appears that Mike Kafka, NY’s offensive coordinator, is the reason for all that. Just to remind you, Jones had only five interceptions last season, and even though he racked up 15 TD passes (which is low for many), he has been the key to the Giants’ solid run.

It’s the first round, and both teams will be a bit conservative, not having the need to risk anything. With some injuries hanging on, we are in for Under 45.5 points here because anything else here, especially the money line or the spread bets, doesn’t seem so sure.
