Before Betting On Crystal Palace vs Man United

Erik ten Hag continues to face pressure when it comes to his long-term future at Man United, with the Dutchman failing to get more progression from his side this term after a solid first season in charge. United will finish outside of the Champions League places this term, and they could yet finish as low as tenth if they fail to pick up victories in their final four matches.

However, ten Hag’s future at the club could yet hinge on success in the FA Cup final this month against Man City. But, United will desperately need to improve their form before that showdown after winning just once across their last five. The Red Devils were held to a third draw in four last weekend after failing to see out a win against Burnley.

The decision to appoint Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace was an inspired one, as the German has easily moved his team away from the drop zone. Palace come into this round of matches sitting in 14th, but they have recorded victories in three of their last four matches. Only Man City have picked up more points over the same spell.

Palace’s three-game winning sequence was ended last weekend after striking late to rescue a draw against Fulham. But, their home record since Glasner’s arrival has been excellent, and the goals are flowing within the Eagles forward line at this stage.

Man United’s record against the Eagles hasn’t been great across recent seasons. Given their defensive issues, we expect Palace to get chances on Monday, and a home win could be the value play at the odds available.
