DC United and Orlando City close this round of the MLS. The hosts, with Wayne Rooney in charge, look for the first win, while on the other side, Orlando improved its morale following a win in the US Open Cup semis.

Before Betting on DC United vs. Orlando City

The hosts are in problems. Wayne Rooney arrived, but there was no reaction in the locker room. DC lost at home to CF Montreal, 1-2, and before that suffered losses to Bayern Munich in a friendly international and Minnesota United, 2-0.

United has just one win in the past 13 games and is without a victory in the last three weeks. Their defense is appalling, allowing two or more goals in the previous seven events.

Orlando is also in a hole, but the difference is the Lions managed to reach the US Open Cup finals after eliminating NYRB this midweek. It is a huge swing for the franchise from Florida, which is now near a trophy.

Prior to that clash, they were without success for four games in a row. When looking at the efficiency of their games, four of the previous six had under 2.5 goals.

By the way, we need to say that DC’s last win was in Orlando 3-5, on July 5.

We are going with under 2.5 goals here because the guests are coming to DC to defend and protect their own net. One point suits them perfectly, and they won’t be pushing to play hard.
