There are few bigger names that could be on the move in the Premier League this summer than Declan Rice. The former Chelsea academy star has been a star player for West Ham United and England throughout 2022-23, and a number of clubs are weighing up making a move for the defensive midfielder this summer.

It will be a huge summer for Declan Rice, as the 24-year-old looks set to make a decision surrounding his future when the transfer window opens. Rice has been a key component in the West Ham team since making his senior debut at the London Stadium, and the Hammers look set to make a huge figure on the star after snatching the midfielder from the Chelsea academy in 2014.

Rice made his senior debut for the Hammers on the final day of the 2016-17 season, and since then, he has gone on to make 244 appearances for the club. Throughout his career, he has scored 15 goals, and he has appeared for the Hammers on at least 50 occasions across all competitions in each of the previous two seasons.

The midfielder was appointed club captain at the start of the 2022-23 season following Mark Noble’s retirement, and he could end his stay at the London Stadium by ending West Ham’s long wait for silverware in the Europa Conference League on Wednesday.

A long list of clubs are already monitoring the England international, with Arsenal keen on stepping up their interest when the window opens. Bayern Munich could offer Rice a move away from the Premier League, while Manchester United and Chelsea have also held Rice in high regard, and could make a move for the defensive midfielder.
