The Denver Nuggets have been pretty confident against the Lakers lately. That’s why the purple and gold want to snap the negative streak against the champs and bring back both the drama in the series and the confidence in their locker room.

Before Betting on Denver Nuggets vs. LA Lakers

Jamal Murray called Game 2 with his buzzer-beater game-winner. He really likes playing against the Lakers, and we saw that not only now but in the previous meetings. It seems that the loss back in the bubble, when the officials pushed the Lakers fuels the Canadian even today.

Murray was the one who got hot in the crucial moments, and in the end, he scored 20 buckets. As for Jokic, he did his thing very well, posting another triple-double, 27 points, 20 boards and ten assists. Many didn’t notice Michael Porter Jr. here, with him having 22 points, six threes, and nine boards. He was the one who hit a few big-time shots, which kept the Nuggets in the game.

The Lakers had three players with 20+ points. Anthony Davis had the most, 32, 14-for-19 FG, with 11 boards. LeBron also added a double-double with 26 points and 12 assists, plus grabbed eight boards. D’Angelo Russell was once again at the highest possible level, with 23 buckets, seven threes included.

One of the reasons why the Lakers lost was the bench. Only six points from non-starters is something that definitely hurt the purple and gold. Instead of pointing the finger at the referees, they need to upgrade this part of the game. Otherwise, the Nuggets will once more sweep them.

The Nuggets are on fire here, having the momentum from the previous win. We are eager to see the officiating in this one, and whether the Lakers get a slight push as they always have in the past. The direct games in LA brought many points in the past, and we would take over 214.5 for this one.
