Denver Nuggets vs. LA Lakers Preview
We already saw the Nuggets coming back from a two-game deficit, and that isn’t anything odd for them. Some even say that they turn their attention to basketball only after losing a couple of games first, reaching the situation in which they face the elimination. We firmly believe that Anthony Davis’ three did wake up Michael Malone’s crew. On the other side, Davis and James are fired up a long time, and the fantastic duo so far plays perfectly, especially AD.

Someone Needs to Help Jokic
The Joker is practically doing everything on his own against the Lakers. Jamal Murray is there to help, though we need to add that the Canadian guard isn’t doing that with the same intensity as in the previous two series.
Michale Porter Jr. is the only one who tries to resist the LAL apart from the above-mentioned duo, but his usage is not that high, which might be a mistake made by Michael Malone.
The young forward already stated that publicly, and so far we haven’t seen any response from the Nuggets’ head coach. All in all, Malone needs to find a formula to include at least one player who might score 12-15 points to diversify his offense and take the load off Jokic. And when he does that, be sure that Murray will reach 30 buckets easily. And that leads to a win.
AD on Fire
The buzzer-beating three Davis delivered on Sunday night was just a proof that this guy is maybe even more important to the Lakers’ team than LeBron. Davis is excellent throughout the entire playoffs, and as long he plays well, there won’t be any problems for the purple and gold.
LeBron now has the luxury of occasionally slowing down because Eyebrow covers up all that, without any problems. Against the Nuggets, he has 34 points per game, with 52.3 % FG, and 86.4% FT. Also, his three-point shooting is 42.9%.
What we need to underline is the fact that Frank Vogel has three very good defenders, Danny Green, Rajon Rondo, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who are constantly pressuring Denver’s outside players and decreasing their contribution.
Prediction
The handicap on the Nuggets is +6.5, and that is, in our opinion, just to much for the Lakers to cover. We haven’t seen the best of the Nuggets yet, and to be honest, we would suggest betting on their win in this event, but just for the safety, picking them with spread will be the final word here.
For the courageous one, go with a plain win.
