We have the replay of last year’s West finals already in the first round. The Denver Nuggets meet the LA Lakers in the opening stage of the playoffs and everyone expects to see a spectacle.

Before Betting on Denver Nuggets vs. LA Lakers Series

The Nuggets have Jokic, who should be the next MVP. One of the most dominant players in the history of the game averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 boards and nine assists per game this season. Plus all the other stats which are equally impressive.

What is important for the Nuggets is that they have Jamal Murray ready for the battles. The flashy guard had some injury problems at the end of the season, but he managed to get back on the floor. His replacement, the experienced Reggie Jackson, took more and more minutes in recent matches, averaging 11.1 points with 3.7 assists in 24.7 minutes over the last ten events.

The Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the play-in tournament, thus securing the seventh seed and the battle with the Nuggets. They looked good in the finish, posting some excellent results, and won six of the past eight meetings.

Anthony Davis’ injury frightened the Lakers’ fans before the play-in game, but the big man appeared on the court in New Orleans looking well, playing 40 minutes and scoring 20 points with 15 boards. LeBron was near a triple-double with 23 points and nine boards and assists each, while the game-winner, D’Angelo Russell, had 21 and six assists. His contribution will be of the utmost importance for the Lakers in this series.
